Privacy

What we do
with your information.

Plain and short. This policy covers information collected through this website. Any data we handle inside a client engagement is governed by your signed agreement, not this page.

The important distinction first. When you engage Wildcatt, the operational data we extract and prepare is governed by the licence and engagement terms you sign, which set out consent, de-identification, access, retention and deletion in full. That work is described on our Trust and Security pages. This privacy policy is narrower: it is about the personal information you give us, or we collect, when you use wildcatt.co.

Who we are

  • Wildcatt is a data monetisation business based in Melbourne, Australia. We are the entity responsible for information collected through this website.
  • For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • What you send us. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, company and message, plus the optional details you choose to add (such as how long your business has operated and which systems you run). You control what you type.
  • How the site is used. We collect standard analytics: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring links. This comes from Google Analytics, Cloudflare, and a small first-party event that counts site visits and film plays.
  • What we do not collect. No accounts, no passwords, no payment details are taken on this site. We do not buy or enrich personal profiles about visitors.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to you and to run the assessment or conversation you asked for.
  • To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
  • We do not sell website visitor information, and we do not use it for advertising networks.

Who we share it with

  • Email delivery. Contact form submissions are stored and emailed to our team through Resend, our email provider.
  • Analytics and hosting. Google Analytics provides usage measurement; Cloudflare hosts the site and provides network analytics. Both may process data outside Australia under their own terms.
  • We share information with these providers only to run the website, never for them to market to you. We disclose information otherwise only if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

  • The site uses analytics cookies and identifiers to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and use Google's opt-out tools, without losing access to any content here.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries are kept as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep a reasonable business record, then removed. Analytics data is retained on the standard schedules of the providers above.
  • Ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

  • Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
  • If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Security and changes

  • Information collected here is handled with the same care described on our Security page: encrypted in transit, access limited to our team.
  • If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here. This version is current as of August 2026.
